Artist and author Violet Grant finds beauty, mystery, and meaning in the details others overlook.

Violet Grant is an Adelaide-based artist and author whose stories are inspired by the landscapes, communities, and hidden corners of South Australia.

From the vineyards of the Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills to the city's leafy suburbs and sunlit beaches, her novels explore the places people gather, celebrate, and keep secrets. Drawn to the details that often go unnoticed, she writes mysteries rich in observation, humour, and the complexities of human relationships.

A lifelong lover of art, storytelling, and South Australian life, Violet enjoys discovering the extraordinary stories that can be found in seemingly ordinary places.

The Wedding Artist is her debut novel and the first book in the Poppy Woodstock Mystery series.
